Newborn Photographer Herndon VA – Eight Days New!

I had a pleasure to be this little lady’s newborn photographer.  She came down from Herndon VA to see me for her first photo session.  She was a second client I had, since I started photographic babies five years ago,  I had to reschedule part way through the sessions.  She was such a sweet little girl, who just did not want to sleep that day.  And that’s OK, its a tinny little baby and sometimes it just not the right day, maybe she had a growth spur, maybe she just liked looking around my studio :), sometimes babies do get overstimulated by the new environment and have hard time falling asleep soundly as they do at home.  Some baby are just more sensitive.   We rescheduled for the next day and we we got some beautiful pictures.  Her parents are a Hokies fans and brought a football with them to photograph.  And we got the best little Hokies fan portrait ever – and guess what, she’s not sleeping in it :).

Her parents had a wonderful creative touch themselves and I really enjoyed working with them on arranging all the props and setups.  Its amazing to be able to work with newborns, to be bale to hold them during the session, to meet new parents and witness all the love and tenderness with which they care for their baby.  Every baby is is such a miracle, and being a newborn photographer who gets to experience this and create these magical baby’s first portraits seems like best job in the world.  Maybe second best, only after the nurses and doctors that get to witness this miracle being born :).
